Billing & Payment Questions


1.) What are your office hours?

Our regular office hours are:

  • Monday through Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
Our office will be closed in observance of the following holidays:

  • New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
Routes will not be run on the following holidays:

  • Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Day.

2.) How do I set up automatic payments?

Automatic payments can be set up online at www.wasteconnections.com. All you will need is your most recent invoice number and your account number found on that specific invoice. You can also contact one of our highly trained customer service representatives by calling 402-336-1334 and they will walk you through the process. If you would prefer, they will gladly take your billing information and set up the payments for you with your specific information and payment dates.

3.) Can I pay my bill online?

All payments can be made online at www.wasteconnections.com. Please click on the "online bill pay" and it will direct you through the steps. If at any point you have questions, feel free to call one of our highly trained customer service representatives by calling 402-336-1334.

4.) Do you take credit cards? Is there a fee? Which cards do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express for payments both on our website www.wasteconnections.com and over the phone with one of our representatives at 402-336-1334.

There is no fee to have a payment processed electronically.

5.) What is your billing cycle?

All new customers are billed monthly in advance for their services. Therefore, the bill they receive on the 1st of a month will reflect the charges for their standard service for that month's coverage.

6.) What is the fuel and material surcharge?

The basic price our company charges covers operating costs – labor, supplies, insurance, energy, etc. The fuel surcharge is needed to pay for the vast increase in costs due to the higher cost of diesel fuel and other petroleum based products that our company must use in order to provide this service to our customers.

1.) What are my pick-up date?

2.) Where should I place my garbage and/or recycling container?

For safe and proper removal off all garbage/recycling items we ask that you have them as an easily accessible and safe location by 7:00 am the day of your regularly scheduled pick up service.
