In order to comply with landfill regulations, we would like to take a moment to let you know how to properly dispose of any Grass & Yard Waste items so that we can fully assist you throughout the entire year!

Nebraska

  • Sticks/branches and other yard debris is accepted year round as long as they are cut down to 4 feet in length and in bundles
  • December 1st – March 30th:  Grass & Yard Waste can be comingled with your garbage
  • April 1st – November 30th:  Grass & Yard Waste cannot be mixed with your trash
    • Residents of Ord, NE please click this link to take you to removal services available within your city limits
  • At any time that you are disposing of grass/yard clippings they cannot be bagged

South Dakota

  • Sticks/branches are NOT allowed
  • December 1st – March 30th:  Grass & Yard Waste can be comingled with your garbage
  • April 1st – November 30th:  Grass & Yard Waste cannot be mixed with your trash
  • At any time that you are disposing of grass/yard clippings they cannot be bagged

Grass ServiceOrd, NE

J & J Sanitation proudly provides Ord, NE, with an optional Grass Removal Service. This service is available April 1st through November 30th. We provide a 96 gallon industrial strength poly cart to store all yard waste throughout the season. At the end of the season we remove this item and store it until the following year.

This service is a subscription service only and is offered directly through J & J Sanitation. In order to comply with current landfill regulations please following the guidelines listed below:

  • Sticks/Branchesmust be cut down to 4 foot sections and bundled
    • These bundles can be placed outside the provided container
  • Grass clippings CANNOT be bagged
  • Grass Removal Totes are to be placed curb side by 7:00 am on the same day as your scheduled garbage pickup.  April 1st – November 30th
